If you don't have anything nice to say...

Don't say anything at all! When I was pregnant with Macey, I was amazed at all the rude comments people would make. Just in case you didn't feel bad enough about yourself already, some stranger would step right in and kick you while you were down. I can't even count how many times this happened.

Stranger: How far along are you?

Me: Six months.

Stranger: You're only six months! Are you having twins?

Me: Nope, just one.

Stranger: Are they sure, I mean you are awfully big to be only six months.

Me: Yep, there's only one.

Stranger: He is going to be a bruiser!

Me: Actually, it's a she not a he.

Stranger: Are you kidding me, a girl. Is your husband really big?

Me: Nope, he's not.

Well, I thought that these rude comments were over seeing as how I am no longer pregnant, but everywhere I go, people just tell me how tired I look. Telling someone they look tired is just another way of telling someone they look like crap. The sad part is, Macey is a good sleeper. I probably get more sleep than most moms with a 3 month old. The part that I really don't understand is that every single time someone made a comment about how big I was during pregnancy, the person making the comment was usually at least 100 lbs. overweight and usually driving a jazzy scooter...go figure :)

MIchelle your gorgeous! People are so LAME! P.S. I have to tell you that Zacc is the cutest dad ever! WE saw him walking Macey home and stephenson was like- wow I don't know if I could do that in the freezing cold :) You guys are the best, cutest parents!

Hah! Everytime I hear that it makes me think of that friends episode where Rachel talks about being tol you look tired. Some people are seriously lacking in the "people-skills" department, aren't they. They must not realize how rude they sound. But hey, that's SO awesome that Macey sleeps so well! Woo hoo!!

I think you should call them out on being overweight, or at least one of their flaws. Maybe they'd think twice about being a prude.

Oh Michelle I love YOU! Maybe you should've popped the tires of their jazzy scooters....people are so rude. You look incredible by the way :)

I love how people think you want to hear what they have to say. So wrong.

I cannot even count the number of times I was asked if I was having twins or told I was going to "pop" any second. I was huge so I see why they thought that, but to actually say it out loud...what a bunch of idiots. Some people get professional pictures taken when they are pregnant, I won't even be in regular pics because I am not one of those cute pregnant ladies.

Stupid lady on the jazzy scooter....You are GEORGEOUS!!! I always see you and think "Could Michelle be any more beautiful?" Sometimes I kinda hate you :) You ALWAYS look amazing.

P.S. I get told that I look tired...pretty much daily and I HATE it some people just suck (yes that's a bit strong but that's how I feel) and need to keep their mouths shut- I know I was much more put together pre-baby but who cares. Just remember WE are better on our worst days than most of them on their best!

Hi Michelle, this is Tina, I saw your blog from Crystal's. I was so excited to see you had a blog because I say your mom right before you had your baby and I was anxious to see how it went. Macey is adorable and so is your whole family. She has a lot of hair and it is so cute. I am so happy for you two. We had our little Paisley in August and we are loving her. You are welcome to check her out at our blog. I feel for you about the whole "being huge and ready to pop". It is amazing how inconsiderate people are. But, I agree with all the rest of the people who have commented to you..you are gorgeous, people just have to say dumb things I guess to make them feel better. YOu are right, they usually don't look great themselves.

Okay, so I'm reading this post like weeks late...but are you serious? The nerve of some people. Oh, and I like your music on your blog. I just recently changed the music on my blog for a more relaxing atomosphere. :) The very first song it plays on my blog is my most favorite song right now. Love it. Hope all is well with the Call fam!

Man...been there and GOING through that?! I'm 30 weeks along and I don't understand why people feel like they have free reign to say whatever they want to a pregnant woman! Thanks for the laugh!!
